STUDENT gallery ARCHIVE
The Student Gallery Archive is a living collection of artwork created through the Marfa Studio of Arts SITES (Studio in the Elementary School) program. This space highlights the creativity, imagination, and growth of the students who participate in our year-round arts education, offering a glimpse into the wide range of ideas and expressions that emerge from the classroom.
Each work represents a moment in a student’s artistic journey: an exploration of material, color, form, and self-expression. From early experiments to more developed pieces, the archive reflects not only technical growth but also the confidence and individuality that art helps cultivate in young makers.

Throughout the year, many of these works are exhibited in the MSA Gallery, where the space is turned over to the students and their teachers. These exhibitions, along with community receptions, invite families, friends, and visitors to celebrate the accomplishments of the children and recognize the importance of arts education in Marfa.
As the archive continues to grow, it serves as both a record and a reflection of the program’s lasting impact; preserving the voices, ideas, and creative spirit of the next generation.
