Studio in the Elementary School Program
MSA's special focus program is the Studio in the Elementary School (SITES.) While the SITES studios are located within the school, the program operates independently to deliver an artist designed and led arts curriculum. Through the SITES program, children discover and explore the complexity of art-making in many forms and, most importantly, experience the joy of making art.
Our Artist/Teachers
All of the instruction in our SITES program is done by active, professional artists and arts educators from our community. Through their interaction with the SlTES artists, children learn to see art in a new way. They get to observe and appreciate the process of making art while gaining the skills necessary to successfully complete projects of their own
